WHO WE ARE
Since 2006 the Chicago World Cup has organized soccer tournaments, festivals and special events such as the FIFA World Cup celebrations in Chicago's Daley Plaza, Montrose Field and Soldier Field, gathering more than 25,000 spectators. The Chicago World Cup Tournament is one of the most popular summer tournaments in Chicago because it’s great competition for the players and offers a family-friendly atmosphere. To date, the Chicago World Cup remains the most multicultural soccer tournament in Chicago; gathering countries like China, Kyrgyzstan, Germany, Pakistan, France, USA, Mexico and more.
“There is no such city as Chicago to organize a World Cup type event because there are so many foreign communities here; and thanks to a great organization, The Chicago World Cup is the best time of the year for us, not only to have fun and relax playing the sport we love, but also to meet people from different cultures and share our experience with them. Some of the players are here every year, some became real friends and others will remain the team to beat, but this is a unique experience” says Stephanie, Player of Team France made of teacher of Chicago French School: Lycee Francais”
